My husband had a TESE done to find sperm. We now have been told that they only found 5 abnormal sperm were found but were not worth freezing, what dose this mean? Is it possible to go back and find normal sperm? Is there something else be done to find my husband sperm?? Or is it the end of the road after doing a TESE once? Please help

Doing more than one TESE is definitely a possibility. We know that there can be different production in different areas of the testes, so it is important to explore the entire testis (as with microTESE). Uncommonly, some patients undergo a repeat microTESE for each cycle of IVF. Hormone modulatory treatments might play a role in optimizing sperm production for certain patients.
